Study/Discussion: The Acts of the Apostles
In our community group we are currently studying and discussing the book of Acts as found in the New Testament. This is the sequal to Luke's Gospel where he tells us that the life, message and story of Jesus has not ended but in fact lives on. Jesus is not dead but alive as he makes sure to prove by showing himself in the flesh to the disciples over a period of forty days and by even taking the time to sit and eat a snack with them...Quiznos?...Kraft Dinner? Before he leaves he makes sure to remind the disciples that they are to be about the business of the Kingdom of God and that He is sending them the Holy Spirit to be with them to go out and take his message of the Kingdom to all the world as they continue to follow Him. The story of Jesus goes on today as we too follow Him into the world by His Spirit to bring the message of the Kingdom to all who will hear!
