We were scheduled to watch John 14 at the last gathering however instead we decided to just have dinner and catch up on life and where God has been teaching and leading us as individuals. Therefore, for those of us who have been waiting on the edge of their seats, tomorrow we will continue on with John 14 and if there is time perhaps even chapter 15. We’ll see…we might want to speed things up a bit since we only meet every other week.
When we finish the gospel of John I’m considering on using our discussion time to walk through the The Joshua House core values which I think are essential to who we are and who we need to be as a community. If you don’t know what I mean or what they are then just click on "our core values" on the right, under links.
Moreover, I’d love for you to be thinking about a recent tagline I put underneath the title "The Joshua House" at the top of the webpage. It says that we are, "a missional christian community journeying in simplicity…relevancy…relationship." Perhaps we’ll start with this tagline and then move onto the core values.
